SPEED, AGILITY AND BALL MASTERY
The goal of this program is to help players improve their on and off-ball movement and speed. Drills will concentrate on speed, quickness, balance, coordination, and reaction time in scenarios encountered during games. The more agile and quicker the players get, the better their reactions in games are - with or without the ball. Physical set up will be based on three factors at all times:
5-yards: To improve first quick step with or without the ball
10-yards: To improve pickup speed with or without the ball
20-30 yards: To improve endurance speed with or without the ball
Led by GFR's Technical Director, Kurt Borel, Elite Academy Director, Rado Pletka, and senior coaches Stevie Alabi and Saidou Touré, the 10-week Ball Mastery Clinic will be held on Wednesdays or Thursdays at Lake Fairfax 4 as follows:
Running September 13/14 through November 15/16 (10 weeks)
Ball Mastery and Speed & Agility with the Ball (for U9-U14)
U9 (2015) and U10 (2014) - 5 to 6 PM
U11 (2013) and U12 (2012) - 6 to 7 PM
U13 (2011) and U14 (2010) - 7 to 8 PM
