Pathways

The GFR Elite Academy has developed the GFR Pathways Program to support players in pursuit of college and professional playing opportunities. The GFR Pathways Program, led by Rado as the Director of Player Development and Opportunity (“PDO Director”), is responsible for:

• developing and overseeing player Individual Development Plans (“IDPs”);
• implementing development tracking data application program;
• counseling players and parents on development for playing soccer beyond high school;
• counseling players and parents on the college recruiting process;
• counseling players and parents on pathways to playing professionally;
• providing opportunities to players to test their desire and talents with soccer.

The Pathways program employs personalized pathway development and support through three key components (1) personalized development training and pathway plans and counseling on pathway track and player progress, (2) use of data tracking technology to monitor individual progress and (3) implementation of IDPs and pathway plans through training and competitive opportunities to spur player development, motivation, and ambition.
